I grew up in a string playing family. I played the cello through my freshman year of college. I hope that someday my children will all be string players too just like in this family. I got a mini-recital during this session as they each played for me. Sunshine, music. What could be better?

I love seeing family dynamics. Especially extended family dynamics. It is so interesting to sit back and see who are the loud ones, the quiet ones. Who makes everyone laugh? I smile to see (and hear) all the crazy antics the parents use to get ten kids aged 9 and under to even just look at the camera, let alone smile. What was certainly apparent in this family was their love for each other.

I love this family. Not only are they good looking but they are all so nice! The oldest just got married and Mom really wanted to capture her family before they moved on to a new phase of life. Newborns. Times two. Two times the sleep deprivation, feedings and diaper changes. Two times the snuggles and precious moments. These two already have very distinct personalities. Mom made a fantastic choice in clothing for this session. The whole family had the most amazing blue and green eyes to match. And I just had to include the headshots of the two girls because they are just so cute. And yes their eyes are really that color!

I took my daughter on a photo field trip while we were visiting Ft. Collins. We got some lunch and then grabbed some great shots in Old Town. Watching Emma was highly amusing. She is a natural model and needed no coaching as to what poses to take. Man, I love this girl!
